In this month’s solo episode, I’m reflecting more deeply on evil in the present moment: What is evil? What’s our relationship to it? How do we increase our tolerance for acknowledging dark energies so that we can moderate and metabolize them—and keep ourselves and others safe? This episode is not meant to scare; my intention is really the opposite, as I don’t find fear to be helpful here. I’ll be sharing a few sources and ways of thinking—about evil and how we might respond to what’s currently playing out in the culture—that I do find incredibly helpful. There’s psychiatrist M. Scott Peck on exorcisms and the lie of evil, a framework of understanding from psychic medium Carissa Schumacher, a beautiful map for us to follow from energy healer Carla Schwiderski, and more.

Well every month, I’m always waiting in some way to understand what to speak to that’s unfolding in the culture or not. Although it’s increasingly rare to have a month that can be anything it wants to be as the culture is so intense right now. Well, this month it felt obvious about what I need to speak to and respond to, and that is this idea of evil. This is something that I’ve been writing about, thinking about, talking about for years.
Devoted podcast listeners will know that Thomas Hübl and I, for example, have been going back and forth on the nature of shadow and evil for a couple of years now. I think we’ve done six or possibly seven devoted episodes. I’ve written newsletter series on my substack about the work of Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee and this idea of, he would call it archetypal evil or chords of darkness, I guess, that exist outside of our paradigm of good and evil that really should only be access by those who are initiated. He writes really beautifully about that. I’ll try to get to that in this episode. And yeah, I’d say it’s one of the big intellectual questions of my work, certainly of my next book. But what is evil? What’s its relationship to shadow? What’s our relationship to evil? Is there a difference between human evil and demonic evil or some evil that’s not human?
Is that a real thing? And yeah, I’ve just been trying to get my arms around it. It’s funny, I’m looking, I have my computer on a stack of books right now, and this will give you an idea of what I’ve been reading and wrestling with just even lately. I’ve got What do we Do With Evil by Father Richard Rohr. I’ve got Escape From Evil by Earnest Becker who wrote, he’s Appalled, surprise winner. He wrote The Denial of Death. I have the Screw Tape Letters by CS Lewis. I dunno if you guys have all read that. I just reread it. It’s really fun and actually quite funny. It’s essentially letters to this demonic underling from screw tape who’s sort of his boss as they’re trying to win a human who we never meet directly to their side. I have hostage to the devil, of course, I have the people of the Lie by m Scott Peck and I have Rudolph Steiner, a compilation of various lectures on evil.
Yeah, that’s what I’m sleeping with. So I’m going to overview how I’m thinking about this. And then most importantly, how I think we all need to think about this and increase our tolerance for acknowledging these types of energies in part because that’s how we modulate them, moderate them, metabolize them, and keep ourselves. I’m going to use the word safe as you listen to me talk through this. What I really don’t want is for people to feel scared because fear is a low vibration energy. It’s a deeply shadowed energy. It’s very natural. In human, I run on fear. I’m an Enneagram type six, but part of what I’ve come to understand in the last five years is that fear, staying in fear makes this all really susceptible to being hijacked. And so I’d say fear. And then also denial is a dangerous energy as well, because part of how we contain this deal with this respond to this energy, to this just massive explosion of human evil is to relate to it in some way, which sounds odd maybe, but I think we really get ourselves into trouble, and this is the basis of so much of Thomas Hubbel’s work is that when we pretend or suggest that it’s over there and that it’s not ours and doesn’t belong to us or that we have no relationship to it, it operates in our unconscious.
It’s part of being human. I think 99.9% of humans are very far from depraved. And yeah, we’re all human. We do things that someone else might perceive as evil. We hurt other people. We certainly harm animals. We harm the planet. We have complicity in shadow and evil. And so it’s important, as scary as that sounds to us, so many of us who are also conditioned to think that we’re all good, all light, et cetera, part of dealing with this is at least taking responsibility for that and then being sound enough, mature enough to help contain the rest of it as well. So as you listen to this solo, I hope that you just take some deep breaths and relax into that idea because it’s how we get through this period. So what is evil, right? Carissa would say, or Yeshua would say that it’s deep, immature, dark shadow waiting to be filled with light.
And I think that that’s generally correct, not that I’m going to argue anyway, but I’m going to put aside this idea of supernatural evil or the devil. I think we often try and scapegoat the devil. Ironically, I think part of our problem is that we want to assume that it’s not human. In fact, I was texting with Krisa and I was like, are these guys about what’s being revealed with Epstein? Which in some ways is not a surprise at all, right? I was like, are they possessed? And she said, absolutely not. This is actually more sadistic. This is steeply human and very sadistic. But I think that there’s that part of us that wants to say, oh, it’s possession. This is so far from what it is to be human. This can’t be human anymore. So I think that’s something that we all need to grapple with, that human evil is the most evil of all.
In fact, I would say that demonic supernatural, I’ve talked about entities on the podcast before and with Thomas Hube and with Prune Harris, the sort of straggler energies that can get attached to us. I think that they have no power unless they’re embodied. They have no power unless you’re willing to resonate with them. I think it’s in that caustic toxic stew that real evil is done and it is done by humans. It has to be embodied. So I think there’s no escaping culpability here, if that makes sense. So I’m going to come to what Car Rodsky offered in a recent Substack newsletter for me, which is really beautiful and her work around resonance because this is exceptionally important for how we respond to evil. But I guess I want to start actually with m Scott Peck and the people of the lie and this framing I find to be really, really, really helpful also for keeping myself out of fear.
So m Scott Peck, for those of you who have never read any of his work, he’s passed, he was a psychiatrist. He wrote The Road Less Traveled, which has sold like 10 million copies, and it took me forever to read that book because I was being a snob about it because of its popularity. And then I read it and I was like, oh, this book is totally fantastic. I get why this is part of the canon and a classic. So then he went on to write this book called The People of the Lie. It will not surprise you that this book is not as popular. It is essentially about evil and his perspective on it as both a psychiatrist dealing with the conscious and unconscious material in people’s minds, and also as a Christian. He’s Christian, which is important context for the languaging that he uses. And it’s a really interesting book.
I highly recommend it. And it’s essentially about what evilness is, which is how evil is in opposition to life. It is that which opposes the life force. It has in short to do with killing, specifically it has to do with murder, namely unnecessary, killing, healing that is not required for biological survival. That’s Scott Peck and his point of view is that evil. It’s very similar to actually Phil Stutz and I went to see Phil this week to visit him, to talk a bit about his perspective on this because we wrote about it a lot and true and false magic. But Peck argues that evil sort of the negation of the life force, that’s a Jungian view as well, that it’s this spiritual apathy or immaturity or an unwillingness to grow up to become a mature adult. This juvenile energy that does what it wants to whom it wants and evil lies.
So he calls this book The People of the Lie, it’s Line from the Bible, but he writes, the evil are the people of the lie deceiving others as they also build layer upon layer of self deception. I think this is critically important, right? Because these are people who are forever fleeing the light of self exposure to quote him. They don’t listen to the voice of their own conscience. They’re full of cognitive dissonance. They refuse to know themselves because to know yourself is to need to take responsibility for yourself. So that is how he positions this idea of evil. And this is a great line, which is that young correctly ascribed evil to the failure to meet the shadow. It’s that projection of your evil unto other people. It’s that there’s nothing to do here, nothing to see her, I’m not responsible, et cetera. That’s M Scott Peck’s perspective, bringing him up too, because at the end of the book, and this is wild for a psychiatrist, but very brave, he writes about attending a couple of exorcisms and he actually talks about this book Hostage to the Devil, which is why it’s on my to be read list, but I haven’t gotten to it yet.
And he goes to these exorcisms experiences them as very real. And I’m going to read some passages to you because I think putting aside, he uses the word Satan, et cetera. I prefer the original, the Hebrew definition of Satan from the Old Testament when Satan is part of God’s court and Satan is essentially the opposer or the accuser. Diablos means to throw something across your path. So Satan was perceived as you could call it, whatever it is that obstructs your will and forces you to grow. That’s how I think of Satan. But he thinks of Satan in a very Christian way. So that’s some context as you’ve listened to this, but I think it’s really important because it gives you a sense of how to respond to this. Alright, so he’s observing, not recorded, but observing. And he comes to this two conclusions. The first conclusion is that ultimately the patient had to be the exorcist, which I think is really important. The patient had to essentially take responsibility for whatever was inside of them to expel it.
And then this is the other conclusion, and I’m going to read to you from here. The other is that Satan has no power except in a human body. Satan cannot do evil except through a human body. Although a murderer from the beginning, it cannot murder except with human hands. It does not have the power to kill or even harm by itself. It must use human beings to do its devil tree. Although it repeatedly threatened to kill the possessed and the exorcists, its threats were empty. Satan’s threats are always empty. They are all lies. In fact, the only power that Satan has is through human belief in its lies. This is a really important point. Friends, both patients became possessed because they bought its false seductive promises of friendship. Possession was maintained because they believed its threats that they would die without it. And the possession was ended when both chose to believe its lies no longer but to transcend their fear by trust and the resurrected Christ and to pray to the God of truth for deliverance.
So there you can hear his Christianity obviously. I would also note that he describes these two individuals as being saint, like having a lot of naivete and lightness. I don’t know if that made them more susceptible or easier targets, but it wasn’t. These people were not inherently depraved just for extra context. Okay, so I’m going to quote him again. This is from a little bit later. This is him reflecting on observing the exorcism and the it that he’s referring to is Satan, or that’s what he would call Satan. The list of lies, it spoke was endless, sometimes almost a boring litany. The major ones I remember were humans must defend themselves in order to survive and cannot rely on anything other than themselves and their defense. Everything is explainable in terms of negative and positive energy, which balance out to be zero. And there’s no mystery in the world.
Love is a thought and has no objective. Reality. Science is whatever one chooses to call science. Death is the absolute end to life. There is no more. All humans are motivated primarily by money. And if this appears not to be the case, it is only because they, they’re hypocrites. To compete for money, therefore is the only intelligent way to live. Satan can use any human sin or weakness, greed and pride, for instance, it’ll use any available tactic, seduction, cajole, flattery, intellectual argument. But its principle, weapon is fear. And in the post exorcism period after its lies had been exposed, it was reduced to haunting both patients with duly repetitive threats. We will kill you, we will get you. We will torture you, we will kill you.
Okay? So I love these passages because if you take belief systems outside of it, what you’re left with is that evil, including human evil gets its power from these types of lies. And I understand we will kill you, we will torture you, et cetera is relatively true, particularly in the context of what’s currently being revealed to us and the collective. But ultimately it’s a lie and it renders us powerless to respond, right? When you’re in fear, you are on your back foot. It’s terrorizing. It’s a form of terrorism, but it’s a lie. So I think that the more of us who can internalize that, lift ourselves out of fear, the more able we are to respond to what’s being revealed. Now I want to transition to the very human evil. And again, as Krisa mentioned, this is sadism. This is more dangerous, this is darker, this is more evil than what Peck is describing here.
But many years ago, four or five years ago, whenever I started working with Carissa, the beginning of COVID, the consistent refrain is that we are at the end of an old era. We’re at the very, very beginning of a new era right now. I think 2026 is the beginning of this era, and it’s the age of transparency and the veils that are being lifted, which include polarity, are going to expose reality to us in a new way. I don’t know exactly what that means except I think we’re all experiencing the age of transparency and it’s only the beginning, right?
And what’s wild about this Epstein class, if you want to call it that, but just the idea of emails being exposed, the real, some of it’s so al right, the real way that we conduct ourselves in private versus the sort of acquired personality that we put out to the world. And obviously the extreme lack of integrity. I mean that’s the lightest way of saying it between who these people really are and how they showed themselves to the world. So it’s shocking. It’s also, and I’m going to get to what Carla wrote for me, it’s been going on for a long time. This is decades of extreme human evil and darkness. It’s now being exposed to us very fast in a way that’s traumatic and deeply overwhelming. And we’re only at the beginning. I mean you think about what hasn’t been shown to us, they’re holding the bad stuff back.
So this is not new, which I hope helps in some way. The revelation is traumatic. And also I think many of us have felt this presence of this human evil and darkness. And obviously many poor victims have experienced it firsthand and not known what it was, right? Or we’ve felt crazy. And it’s also wild to start to realize that Q anon, all these conspiracy theories were maybe PSYOPs created by Bannon. It’s breaking our brains. I know to see the seeds planted by this group of people, which made us all believe that we were crazy and that other people were crazy. And that fueled this whole movement. So we’re seeing the exposure of something which I can’t even get my hands around at this point, but this interconnected dark web of human evil that’s been harming victims directly and harming all of us indirectly through what they’ve sown in the collective elective.
And I remember one of my conversations with Thomas Hubel, I’m going to play a clip from you guys. This is an episode with Thomas Hubel called How to Work with our Darkest Energy. And in it he explains how conspiracy theories are connected to something real and resonant. Alright guys, so I’m going to play this bit of conversation from the Thomas Huble episode for you now and this dense sludge, this blackness, this extreme layer of disembodied energy, pain hurt. I’m assuming as our population expands, if we’re not metabolizing it or releasing it or moving it, it just gets deeper and denser a more intense layer of sediment. Is that how it works? And then is that energy animated? Does it have a primal owner? Does it want to kill us?
No, that’s the point. It’s like that’s how we look at it when we are in the shadow, the itness of the shadow can be from simple things to the itness of all kinds of entities that are bad and that we don’t want to be associated with the concentrated essence of this. But yes, it has an owner, the owner is us, but the owner disowns the ownership as a principle. And that’s why it looks like an it. It looks like it’s hunting us.
So the shareholders, we all hold shares and if you would really own the shares, we could transform them. But if you don’t own them, if you disown the shares, it looks like there’s an organization that does it, whatever it is, and you hear the shadow in many conspiracy theories, you hear also that there’s sometimes even a core of truth and then there is a lot of it to it. Ification of life is always something to listen to. Let’s first listen what we are saying when we are saying that. And so it has all kinds of shades. When we listen to the public discourse, we can also hear the shades of the collective shadow speak. And it’s not that we want to disregard it or that it’s not good that it’s there because fact is it’s there and it’s not the question if it’s good or not good.
The question is how we create the relationship to that which we collectively disown. And if we can train that differently, if we have rituals in our society, if we have an architecture of healing, we will take buckets of that energy, re-own it and turn it into aliveness, turn it into creativity, turn it into progress, turn it into ethical upgrades, turn it into all kinds of things that make us more alive, more juicy, more together, more collaborative. And the other side of that shadow work or collective trauma work is also an amazing post-traumatic learning, an amazing growth, an amazing resourcing of humanity.
That’s so true. That’s such an exquisite definition too of conspiracy theories because there is that cord of truth that’s the hook and then all that itness that surrounds it. And yeah, if we could hold that cord and bring people back and reintegrate that with love rather than extreme dis ownership or rejection, flipping it out even more. So I think that’s really important on many levels. I think what happens when there’s this collective gaslighting or we’re scared to say the thing that we feel is resonant or true, is that we start to distress our own sense of reality. And I’ll just remind you of Chris’s definition of intuition, which I think is really helpful, which is it’s equal parts inspiration and discernment and we need to be working both of those muscles simultaneously. But I think what’s happened is a massive amount of distrust has been sown both distrust of our own sense of reality and also distrust of each other. So I’m hoping that that’s one of the things that we really begin to repair in the coming months and years and so on and so forth.
So what do we do with all of this? How do we do this work? I mean obviously this is what Thomas hub career is about. This is what my next book is about, which hopefully it will be out next spring, which will be here sooner rather than later. But I had asked Car KY to help us with this because for those of you who don’t know Carla, I’ve talked about her before. She’s an incredible energy healer. And what I love about all the energy healers I know is that they all have their areas of expertise and where they like to work. Some are really good at rebalancing the chakra centers and creating consonants in the system. Some work with entities and darkness. Some are very avowedly, do not and do not feel like they’re equipped to do that. Carla does it all. She does it in concert with her parents and with her tribe in Brazil.
She comes from a long lineage, she’s Brazilian and she is fierce but also not scary about it at all. I think that again, this is really important to and why I keep going back to those passages from Emma, Scott Peck, it wants you to fear it, but it is ultimately as banal as so many of those emails and as pathetic. So I want you to keep that in mind because the more that we can approach human evil through that lens of this exceptionally immature, twisted energy, capable of doing grievous harm, the more mature we can be in ourselves as we contend with it and deal with it, the safer that we are and the more helpful we are, the more powerful we are. So Carla’s first piece that she did with me was called, this is on my substack. I’ll include links to it. For those of you who are not subscribed, let’s get you there.
Okay, I’m just going to read you some parts of this because this is about her methodology in general. But I asked her about evil of course, and she would say that her work in many ways is about helping us to respond to the call of spiritual responsibility and to recognize that we are not a victim of invisible forces, but that we’re the co-creator of our spiritual environment. And so the more responsibility we can take by surrounding ourselves with what we need to stay grounded, resourced, clear, joyful, the greater our capacity to serve. As she would say, lower entities are drawn to distortion. Higher presences are magnetized by truth, serenity, intention, and light. So choose wisely. So I asked the question, I’m going to read her response. I asked her the question, are these energies evil or does that not really exist? How do you see or understand different levels of lightness, darkness, denseness on the planet?
And she writes, my sister, as we contemplate existence along the vibrational spectrum that stretches from shadow to light, we are invited to transcend binary judgments that label evil as a fixed entity or an external enemy In our comprehension, evil is not an absolute force opposing light, but rather a transitory state of ignorance in relation to the eternal laws of love and wisdom, what many refer to as dense energies, spirits of darkness or negative forces are in essence consciousness in suffering. Disembodied intelligences who being disconnected from the axis of moral evolution, vibrate at frequencies misaligned with universal harmony. They are so to speak, distance from the light but not excluded from it as divine sparks. These beings are also guided by the law of progress, even if they are momentarily immersed in the denser regions of their own psyche, there is no such thing as eternal evil.
There are only beings at different stages of spiritual maturation. Shadow is not substance, it is absence. The spirit who today is enveloped in density may tomorrow become a messenger of light. Darkness is always a passage, never a destination. So I think that that’s beautiful and really important and just a way, a position, a stance in which to organize yourself as you think about what’s coming so that you don’t feel subsumed to it. And then I went back to her and she offered this really beautiful piece for my substack a couple of weeks ago. I’m going to read it to you. I think it’s incredibly beautiful and it’s called the Revelation of Evil as a call to lucidity, trials, expiration and the maturation of consciousness. So this is from Carla one, the call, the maturity of the spirit in a time of trial. Perhaps the strength of this era does not reveal itself through her heroic gestures.
Perhaps it reveals itself through the maturity of the spirit. It is not loud, it is not impulsive, it is not defined by opposition, but by the capacity to sustain consciousness within duality. It reveals itself in the ability to observe without becoming contaminated, to feel, without becoming destabilized, to act, without abandoning the inner axis for remaining whole. Today is a more complex task than simply reacting to the world. And perhaps this is the essential learning of our time to educate one’s own consciousness while moving through the trial knowing that no inner choice is neutral but rather vibrates, organizes or disorganizes and reverberates. Throughout the collective field we all share consciousness does not mature through the denial of reality, but through the quality of presence sustained in the face of it, she offers this anchoring thought. Spiritual maturity begins when the being stops seeking answers outside and learns to sustain coherence within.
And here’s her question. For all of you, in which moments of your life did you react when you could have remained whole? Part two, the revelation when the shadow ceases to be subterranean, darkness has never been so visible. Not because it was born now, but because it can no longer hide the traces of the shadow. Cross screens, headlines, reports, documents placed before our eyes normalized. Violence revealed abuses, wounded children silence. Women structures of power that when illuminated reveal deep fractures between discourse and practice. It is if a subterranean world, one that has always existed, had been projected onto the surface without filters, without veils, without preparation. And perhaps that is why it hurts more, not because darkness is new, but because it now comes too close to our fields. The true impact does not lie only in the exposed facts, but in the way they cross the human field continuously.
Without time for digestion, without space for integration, we are not merely witnessing collapse, we are being traversed by it. When the shadow ceases to be distant, it ceases to be a concept and becomes a felt experience. Here’s her anchoring thought. Revelation is not the end of illusion, it is the beginning of responsibility. And here is her question for you. What within you contracts when shadow appears in the world and what within you remains lucid? Part three, the impact on the multidimensional field. When consciousness is crossed by hyper exposure, we are living in a time of moral, emotional and sensory hyper exposure. The pain of the world no longer reaches us filtered by distance as it once did for our grandparents. We carry it in our pockets. We wake up with it, we live alongside it. We fall asleep with it, etched into the retina, into the body, into the field, into the nervous system, and the body does not respond as it would to information.
It responds as it would to a present threat because the incarnated spirit feels in the body what has not yet been elaborated in consciousness. We are a body under trial perception and learning emotion and an educational process, a field and constant reorganization. What we see here and absorb does not remain only in the mind. It crosses the nervous system. It reconfigures the emotional field. It impacts the energetic body. That is why it hurts more, not because darkness has increased, but because collapse occurs when the body can no longer distinguish information from lived experience. When our system does not find pauses, consciousness loses its capacity to symbolize and everything begins to be lived as urgency. The ocean does not retain all the debris that passes through it. It returns what it cannot integrate and holds in silence. Its deep currents not out of rejection but out of a sacred instinct of preservation. So too does lucid consciousness. It allows what cannot be metabolized to pass so that the center may remain intact and then she offers this silent exercise. Pause for three slow breaths and observe where is your body tense? Where does it ask for rest? Do not change anything. Simply recognize.
Okay, part four, the initiatory core where true spiritual work begins. This is where true spiritual work begins not in avoiding the world, but in learning how to move through it without allowing it to disorganize the vibration that sustains the being. Fear, anger, indignation, repulsion, sadness. These reactions belong to the human condition. They are not moral failures. They are natural responses to the impact of reality. Spirituality does not deny emotion. It teaches how to educate it. These emotions do not inhabit the same level of consciousness. Each one imprints a specific signature on the field of being, contracting or expanding perception, narrowing or widening presence. Fear and repulsion compress the vital field. They close the field, they close the body, they reduce the horizon of consciousness to immediate survival. Anger and indignation carry more energy. They are forces of mobilization, but when uneducated, they become unstable, displace the inner axis and imprison the being in reaction.
Sadness draws energy in word when crossed with presence it can mature consciousness. When inhabited without elaboration, it can silence inner life. None of these emotions define the being. What defines the level of consciousness is the degree of sovereignty with which the spirit sustains them without confusing itself with them. Spiritual maturity is the ability to sustain dense states without allowing them to become identity, narrative or destiny. It is here that the teaching of Jesus becomes profoundly current. Watch and pray lest you enter into temptation, not as an invitation to passivity, but to enter responsibility to watch is to sustain lucidity over one’s own field. In the face of the disturbances of the human world to pray is to align thought, feeling and action with the highest possible consciousness. It is to recover the axis. It is to prevent duality from dragging us into fragmentation. Emotion felt with presence, matures emotion, felt without consciousness governs.
And it is here that the spiritual question of our time arises. How do I avoid becoming what I denounce? Because evil does not perpetuate itself only through explicit action, but through the unconscious reproduction of its very same forces. It is possible to fight violence and violate oneself internally to defend victims and intoxicate oneself with hatred to speak of light while operating at the same frequency as shadow. Shadow does not win by force, but when it pulls the being out of its center and contaminates it, here is her anchoring thought. Emotion is not the enemy of consciousness, it is raw material. Here’s her question for you. Am I feeling this with presence or am I being governed by it? All right, part five, the law of this incarnation, trials, expiation and reincarnation responsibility, spiritism names. This time with clarity. We are living in a world of trials and exp expirations not a world of punishment, but of education, of consciousness.
Expiation is not suffering for the sake of suffering. It is a reunion with consequence. It is reincarnation responsibility. The spirit learns through contrast what it is not in order to remember its origin. The revelation of evil does not occur to crush us. It occurs to summon us to a higher level of lucidity. Duality does not exist to push us into collapse, but to teach us discernment, we are incarnated in a three dimensional reality. Dense profoundly human, radically marked by duality. Here, empathetic and lucid consciousnesses coexist alongside wounded, fragmented consciousnesses disconnected from their origin. This is not a flaw of the world, it is the curriculum of the spirit. St. Augustine speaking as a spirit. Synthesize this law with precision know thyself and thou shalt know the universe and the gods. Without self-knowledge we project shadow with self-knowledge, we learn not to replicate it. Here is an integrated spiritist thought.
A trial does not come to punish the spirit, but to reveal the degree of lucidity, it is already able to sustain. And here is Carla’s. Question for you. What is this experience trying to educate in you? Not merely correct. Okay, almost done. Here is six, the passage from observer to field stabilizer. There comes a point when discernment is no longer enough, there comes a point when the regulation alone no longer suffices, consciousness is then called to change its function. Until now, the being observed the world. Now it sustains it. This time no longer demands analysis. It demands ontological positioning. It is no longer about choosing what to see or filtering what to feel. It is about inhabiting a point of consciousness from which the world does not invade. There is a level at which reality ceases to be something that happens and becomes something that resonates from where you are standing at that level.
Evil is not fought. It finds no surface upon which to inscribe itself. Not because it has disappeared, but because there is no available field for it to organize itself. This is the true reset when consciousness stops reacting to form and begins to anchor order before form. Here the being no longer asks How should I act? It asks from where am I existing. And that question silently reorganizes everything. Seven. The new function of the incarnated spirit. Not to interpret the world but to stabilize it. From this point on the world is no longer something to be understood. It is something to be sustained through presence. Mature consciousness does not attempt to correct the earth. It prevents the earth from collapsing within itself. This is service at its highest degree. It is not emotional charity. It is not spiritual militancy. It is not discourse or pedagogy. It is field.
Each human being begins to operate consciously or not as a point of stabilization or as a point of rupture. There is no vibrational neutrality, incarnated consciousness when whole acts as an element of structural coherence within an unstable reality. When fragmented, it amplifies precisely the disorder it seeks to fight. That is why this time does not call for saviors of the world. It calls for human structures capable of sustaining tension. Without disorganizing, we are not called to save the world, but to not become part of the collapse that is already much, that is already rare, that is already service, inner silence, steady presence, simple gestures and ordered life. The extraordinary does not lie in doing more, it lies in not breaking. Those who remain whole do not illuminate the world through discourse. They reduce the density of reality simply by existing. And this generates no applause, no followers, no narrative.
It generates invisible stability. This is the new place. It is not heroic. It is not beautiful. It is not exalted, but it is necessary. This time does not ask for heroes. It asks for guardians of the axis. It does not ask for loud voices. It asks for stable consciousnesses to remain whole. Today is an advanced spiritual act. It is here that the incarnated spirit fulfills most silent and most decisive function. Closing thought. The world does not need more opinions. It needs human fields that do not collapse. And here is her final question. Does my presence today organize or densify the field around me? And then Carla added a necessary addendum, which I’m also going to read to you. It’s quite beautiful. Let us protect our children. They do not yet know how to defend their own field. They absorb before they understand. They mirror before they discern the world that surrounds them.
Sounds, images, words, tensions. Silently writes the architecture of who they will become before going to sleep. Ask yourself, was the environment I sustained today habitable for a child? Protection is not excessive surveillance. It is not control. It is not fear. Protection is sustaining a field so coherent that life can rest without contracting. Evil does not enter only through extreme acts. It enters through normalized distractions, through haste, through absence, through the adult who has lost their own center and calls this maturity practice good but not as a slogan. Practice good as atmosphere. Begin where your presence truly has power within your core, within your home, within the space where your energy touches life daily. No collective transformation is stronger than the silent coherence of a small well cared for world. Do not distance yourself from your nature. It is wiser than the noise that tries to replace it.
Learn to outmaneuver distractions that fragment feeling and steal the capacity to remain whole. Open space for contemplation as a ritual of return. Contemplation is an ancient intelligence. It elevates. It restores. Ask yourself with radical honesty. Does this distract me or does it sanctify me? What sanctifies is not what appears elevated, but what aligns. Seek knowledge. True knowledge liberates use the filter of reason. Do not abandon intuition. It is the language of the body when the soul is listening. Discernment is born when knowing, feeling and presence. Finally walk together. Your greatest tool is conscious autonomy, which emerges when knowledge becomes embodied. Posture. Reconnect with the body. It is the first temple. Observe sensations. Listen to emotions. Invite your thoughts and emotions to sit at the table. Offer them tea. Observe them with presence as one welcomes a friend. Ritualize existence, not out of superstition, but out of respect for the life moving through you. Respect your limits. They are sacred boundaries, not weaknesses. When a being lives this way, they do not only protect themselves, they protect the field around them. And where there is a protected field life, especially life that is still growing, can flourish without fear. This is the commitment. Silent, intimate, unavoidable. Alright friends, thank you for listening. Hang in there deep breaths. I will see you next time.
